Pleasantly surprised
I wanted a small garage door opener to keep with me when I ride my motorcycle. I usually just throw one of the full-sized ones in the pocket of my riding jacket, but this gets cumbersome-- the clip catch. When searching for openers I saw that these were compatible with my garage door opener. I was skeptical that these tiny, inexpensive remotes would work well, but I decided to give them a try anyway. I could always return them if they refused to work. These are about the size of a car alarm remote or a smart key. There are four buttons so you can program up to four openers. You can also program unused buttons to perform other opener functions like turning the light on/off (assuming your openers support this feature). Programming was easy. I pressed the program button on the opener, then pressed one of the buttons on the remote. Done. I have two openers so I went through the procedure a total of four times (each remote controls 2 openers). I tested them and, to my surprise, both openers worked correctly with both remotes. I really like the sliding cover for the buttons. Since this fob will likely live in your pocket, the cover protects the buttons and keeps you from accidentally pressing one and leaving your garage open for the entire world to loot. In the past, these openers have been a bit finicky about staying programmed, but so far these appear to work fine. I like the small size and the integrated keyring slot. I put one on the keychain for my motorcycle so that I can open/close the door without dismounting my bike. The other one is on a carabiner, and I can clip it to my belt loop so that when I take a walk, I can go in or out through the garage door if I want. If you have a compatible garage door opener and you want a tiny, unobtrusive remote, these are a great value.

Worth the low cost...
I don't review items much, but was pleased enough with these remotes to do so after taking a chance seeing they didn't have many reviews to start with. It's slim pickings out there for 315mhz/purple program Security+ openers, especially small compact remotes. I wanted as small as possible so that they are pocketable and not left in the car so in the event one is left in the driveway, someone cannot break into our car and obtain a way into our garage. They program instantly, have an excellent range (I estimate 50 yards from outside with our door closed, we were two houses down) and are smaller than a Chevy keyless entry remote. The door that covers the buttons is "clicky" to stay in place, but I assume in short order that will probably wear in and the door may slide down in your pocket or purse on its own. Not a big deal at all. The only negative is the small portion of plastic near the loop to attach to your keychain is very limiting. It is a tiny hole and I could see where the plastic would snap off very quickly in your pocket if you place it on a thicker key ring. To alleviate this, I used a black zip tie to make a flexible keychain loop and then attached that to my existing key chain. Overall, great product for the 315mhz crowd.

Easy to Program
So helpful and super easy to program. The directions were easy to follow. These were just the right price and I love the small size. They fit easy in my purse.

Easy, small and a MUCH better mouse trap!
I can't believe how simple set up was! I took the two remotes out of the box, got out a step ladder, pushed the purple learn button on my garage door opener up a the garage ceiling (after opening the light cover), pushed the A button for a second on the remote, and the set-up was complete. It was such a breeze, I took it over to my other garage door and repeated it with the B button. I'm going to do the same setup again with one more separate garage door I have on a stand alone garage, with the C button. I'm extremely pleased! I had three separate remotes for three separate garage doors when I moved into my house in Colorado two years ago. The one I need the most, died at 1:30 AM after I came home from Denver Airport, running my car on a donut spare, for 65 miles. Seriously? Wasn't arriving at eh airport to a flat tire in the parking garage enough? That was less than 48 hours ago and now Amazon sent me these two remotes and I got them both programed within 4 minutes. There's a cover to slide over the A B C D buttons so you don't accidently open or close the garage door just walking with the control in your hand.

So far sooo good
Gave 4 stars only because I just installed them. The install was very very quick and easy. Not sure yet on how long they will last and function properly. 2👍🏽up

Reliable opener with beneficial button cover
Solid garage door opener. We purchased these because they have a slide to cover the buttons. If you are shopping for a garage opener, get one with a cover. I accidentally hit the button (on my last opener that didn't have a cover) while I was backing out. I put my purse down and backed out and the door closed on the car. Oops. This one has been reliable. It's easy to set up. The buttons are easy to press when needed. And the cover won't accidentally open. It's been a long time since we purchased these and haven't had to replace batteries yet. Worth the money.

Works great if you can read the small instructions.
Nothing to complain about it, the range is as good as my original controllers and my car. The only issue I had with it was that even though I have 2 exact same garage door openers, I had to program one button for one frequency and the other button to use the other. Update: I have had these remotes for over a year now. Still original battery and it is used on a daily basis. Solid buy! And I have recommended my friends to buy them and ditch their trashy garage openers that you put on the visor in your car. The range is so much with these remotes. I can open my doors from about 100+ feet away. The original ones that came with the door opener, I was lucky if they worked 10 feet away! FYI, I did not change any text in my previous comment.
