The opening feels rich and inviting—like walking into a room filled with pipe smoke, vanilla, and a hint of cinnamon. As it dries down, it becomes creamier and warmer, wrapping you in a cozy, slightly resinous sweetness that just feels luxurious. This is absolutely a cold-weather or nighttime scent. It shines when the temperature drops, projecting beautifully without being overwhelming, and it lasts all day on skin and even longer on clothes. Okay, kinda childish title, but DAMN! First off: This stuff IS beast mode! Now, I finally I know what that means. Do not spray more than (2) sprays, possibly only (1). It arrived and my first time trying it I did (3) sprays and am way over projecting. The fragrance/scent is fantastic. (Granted, my nose is yet untrained to fragrances) As time goes by, I will be able to give better 'Fragrance' reviews.

The easiest way to frame it is this: Tobacco 01 sits firmly in the Initio Side Effect lane. From the first spray, the resemblance is obvious. You get a rich tobacco and boozy sweetness that immediately calls Side Effect to mind. It opens warm and slightly intoxicating, with that signature sweet-dark aura that made the original so popular. As it develops, the differences start to show in a good way. The mid leans more heavily into tobacco, cinnamon warmth, and resinous sweetness, which gives it a slightly darker profile than Side Effect. The DNA is clearly there, but Tobacco 01 feels a bit more grounded and less glossy. The drydown is where it really comes together. You get vanilla, amber, and lingering tobacco richness, which creates that addictive warm sweetness people look for in this category. It stays smooth and dense without becoming overly syrupy. In terms of similarity, most impressions land in the “very clearly inspired” range. It captures the mood and structure of Side Effect extremely well, especially in the air. It may not fully replace the original for die-hard fans, but as an affordable interpretation that still feels rich and satisfying, it’s a very strong option.

Initial impression: Beautiful scent, a little like Initio Oud for greatness, plus TF Tobacco Vanille. Bright, warm fragrance. Excellent quality oils, beautiful presentation, cap clicks securely into place. Really good value for the money. Good sized bottle, feels great in the hand. My first Swiss Arabian fragrance, will definitely not be my last.

Uggh! This is one of the worst fragrances in my collection. I kinda smell the tobacco, but there is something about it that just doesn't sit too well with my skin. I don't smell any vanilla as some others claim.

Definitely a gentleman's fragrance. Great projection with a smooth and sensual scent. Longevity is around 9hrs , and people will notice.
