This book’s pages are not aligned, which is highly unacceptable when it comes to a book delivered and sold by amazon themselves!! I don’t recommend!

Very good and brutally funny! The package came without any dents and the book was in good condition

Amazon book packaging is getting poorer day by day, only a single sheet of packaging cover(plastic) no bubble wrap or double covering, I used prime membership to order this and tried to apply the gift wrap option which was not available for books, so at the least I expected it arrive in a proper condition but still the same poor packaging also the front cover has a printing defect-is missing a small square image at the very centre. I just hope to get this book in a better condition as replacement. After replacement: Satisfactory packaging, book came in good condition with no bends or creases, Thank you Amazon!

It’s been a hot minute since I’ve stepped into the writings of Abercrombie. Good lord I have missed it so! This book is 5/5 no contest. Like previous books, Mr Abercrombie does what he does best! Excellent combat and violence and more importantly, phenomenal characters. This book is a classic trope of “band of misfits” but executed so well. The characters bounce off each other with ease, the plot moves at a fast pace but gives you time to digest both the lore and the arc of each character slowly evolving. Very much gives me Baulders Gate 3 vibes (and that’s a massive compliment). The humour in this book (as with his other books) is a spot on. Perfectly timed, sometimes dark, sometimes straight up hilarious. I won’t spoil any plot here but I was so hooked from the get go and at the point in time, am not aware if this is due to be part of an ongoing series but I really hope it is because I want to follow up with what our devils are up to next. Already this snuck into my Top 5 books of all time. Now forgive me whilst I suffer with post book depression.
