Work well if you are CAREFUL.
Some are saying theae are fragile, and they might be a little, but I found them to be plenty sturdy if you handle them with care. I drilled a 25/64" hole for them, widened the top of the opening a little by angling the drill bit a little, then carefully tapped the hinge into the hole with the edge of a small L-bracket (unscrew the little set screws first). I the tightened the set screws until they started to creak. At first try, one set of holes wasn't positioned correctly, and I had to drill a second set of holes. I had thought I was going to have to destroy the hinge to get it out - that's what another reviewer had said - but I loosened the set screws, grabbed the hinge bars with pliers, gently wriggled the hinge out of the errant holes, and was able to reuse it. I used four hinges to make am hinged 3/4" table top that is about 4' x 25" and weighs 15-20 pounds, and they seem to be holding up well.

Ok and mounting offset is a bit tricky.
These work though they are bit on the fragile side. Getting the hole size and offset is not spelled out, but here is my findings. First since they are 10mm getting a 10mm drill bit is the most obvious choice. Other have suggested an odd sized imperial bit, but a 10 mm bit is not cost prohibitive. For the offset from the edge, some have suggested a 10/32" (or 5/16" to simplify). A closer look at the dimensions of the part show when fully open the distance end to end is 25 mm. Given that the barrel is 10 mm, the distance between centers when open should be 15mm (25 -10/2 -10/2). This means for an inference fit the the offset from the edge should 7.5mm of half 15. For a bit of clearance I would suggest 7 mm offset from the edge. In imperial that is ~0.28" a bit more that a quarter and less than the 10/32" suggested by another reviewer.

Poor build quality
These work nicely when they don't fall apart. Almost half of the items broke when taking them out of the bag. Good thing they were not expensive.

Trash hinges
These are absoulute garbage. One just fell apart when I opened the bag. I was installing them on a very elaborate jewelry box as the lid hinge. Since there were no instructions - I experimented until I got a test intall accurately. I drilled the holes and installed the barrels in the 10mm hole (tight fit) tapping them gently into place with a small rubber mallet and block of wood. I was deligted that the lid was perfectly aligned - but as I re-opened it - the hinge fell apart. If anyone knows how to pull those out without destroying my nice zebrawood box - please let me know. I left pics of the good hinge and the one that fell apart.
