Prior to this purchase, I had a reciprocating blade style trimmer from Philips, which turned out to be pretty mediocre at trimming nose hairs. This trimmer is way more effective, gets into the "nooks," doesn't leave nicks, and also doesn't leave irritating pointy stubble. It is a very cheaply made device, but that doesn't seem to make it any less effective. When you first pick up the box, you think, "Man, this thing has some weight to it. It must be well-made!" When you open the box, though, a thick instruction manual is actually the bulk of the weight, which is pretty funny. The device itself is a thin plastic battery holder with a tiny motor and cutting head. But hey, it works great.

Reliable Nose Hair Trimmer with Easy Cleaning but a Few Shortcomings I’ve been using the Panasonic ER-GN30-K for nose and ear hair trimming, and overall it does its job well. Battery life has been reasonable, but keep in mind it only runs on a single AA battery, which isn’t included. Where it falls a bit short is in overall trimming power. For finer hairs, it’s fine, but if the hair is coarser or longer, it sometimes takes a few passes. I also noticed it’s not as powerful as some plug-in trimmers I’ve used, so you may need to be patient with thicker growth. The build feels a little plasticky as well, so I wouldn’t expect it to last a lifetime if heavily used. Bottom line: A good, reliable nose and ear trimmer that’s easy to clean and travel-friendly. It’s not the most powerful option out there, but for regular upkeep it works well and is convenient to maintain.

This trimmer is great, easy to clean, small, gets in all the places you need to, ears, nose, etc. Very reliable. I had one previously for about 8 years, it finally stopped working and I just bought a replacement because I liked it so much.

This is far superior to the more hair adapter I have been using to trim my nose hair. This battery operated trimmer is sleek and easy to use. Way closer trim than what I was previously used to. It works excellent for my needs. Definitely recommend!

I can’t believe this is a Panasonic product. Panasonic has always been the best for me, even in previous nose hair trimmers. This hardly can cut any hairs in my nose, even long obvious ones. I have to resort to going back to my old no name one from China to cut the hairs. Does Panasonic have this running in reverse?

Questa recensione sarà soggetta sicuramente a rivisitazione in futuro, visto che ho l'abitudine di riconfermare o smentire il voto delle mie recensioni a distanza di un anno o due d'uso intenso. Per ora questo tagliapeli si merita 5 stelle e ne spiego il motivo. Non so quanto durerà la batteria ne so quanto durerà l'intero attrezzo, ma ho notevole esperienza di tagliapeli, cinesi economicissimi e non. Per costare 13 euro, taglia "benissimo, da applauso", non "bene". Nessun pelo strappato (ZERO), nessun inceppamento, un lievissimo abbassamento di giri ampiamente giustificato che comporta proprio NULLA (...provate i cinesissimi senza marca, poi mi raccontate di come vanno ;) ) Una pulizia di peli (abbondanti) perfettamente riuscita in meno di due minuti. Uno dei miei problemi è costituito esattamente da peli dentro al naso e nelle orecchie, folti e lunghi. Ho esperienza di questi attrezzi -purtroppo- per il continuo uso che ne devo fare, per ottenere un aspetto del dignitoso. Se andate su ebay (o anche qui) e invece di spendere 13 euro per un Panasonic acquistate un attrezzo cinese senza marca, spendendo magari 9 euro (ne ho avuto SEI finora...) troverete che: 1) vi strapperà i peli fin dal primo uso facendovi venire le lacrime agli occhi; 2) abbasserà il numero di giri dopo pochi secondi dall'accensione a livelli inaccettabili; 3) spesso il motorino NON SI AVVIERA' a causa degli attriti esagerati, costringendovi a togliere la capsula-lama esterna, far partire il motorino e poi reinserirla mentre il motorino gira al massimo della velocità; 4) avrà la batteria AAA che dura un amen; 5) ai primi smontaggi è facile che vi rimangano i pezzetti in mano costringendovi a buttar via tutto; 6) neanche sognerà un regime rotatorio così elevato che permette la pulizia dei peli in modo efficace in meno di due minuti (vi ritroverete anche dopo dieci minuti a continuare di tentare di tagliarli "per tentativi", col motore che dopo qualche secondo va lentissimo e di peli ne strappa tre su quattro, invece di tagliarli); 7) dopo un paio di mesi finirà inesorabilmente nel non riciclabile (...) Chi scrive peste e corna di questo attrezzo che dignitosamente appare ben fatto (e ottimamente funzionante per 13 euro!) non ha la più pallida idea di quale sia l'alternativa di mercato. La confezione è ben fatta, il manuale d'istruzioni corposo e ben tradotto anche in italiano, lo smontaggio è completo, pratico e ben documentato, il materiale è plastica di buona qualità (nettamente più robusta di TUTTE le realizzazioni cinesi finora possedute), è lavabile, c'è l'apposito spazzolino di buona qualità per pulirlo, va con batteria AA stilo e non ministilo AAA e c'è anche la garanzia. Qualora duri anche un solo anno... sarà da considerarsi un best-buy assoluto (e ho impressione che durerà alcuni anni, considerando il trimmer Panasonic che uso 3 volte a settimana, acquistato nel 2008).

It is great for nose hair, I haven't had it tug on hairs a single time, it's gentle but does a very good job, especially compared to the old Braun I used. The thing I'm most impressed with however is how effective it is for eyebrows, I wasn't really expecting this but it's the best tool I've tried to trim eyebrows so far.

Ik heb het gevoel dat ik meer controle heb tijdens het trimmen, wat een groot pluspunt is, vooral in gevoelige gebieden. De trimmer is ook uitgerust met een handige draaiende snijkop, die ervoor zorgt dat ik zelfs de moeilijkste plekken goed kan bereiken. Een ander groot voordeel is de waterdichte constructie. Dit betekent dat ik de trimmer eenvoudig onder de kraan kan afspoelen voor een snelle en hygiënische reiniging. Het is fijn dat ik me geen zorgen hoef te maken over onderhoud; ik kan de trimmer snel schoonmaken na gebruik. De batterijduur is ook zeer goed.
