I’m very impressed with this Kodak PIXPRO camera! It’s easy to use, lightweight, and takes clear, sharp photos. The 25x optical zoom is excellent for capturing distant subjects, and the image quality is great for everyday photography, travel, and family events. The controls are simple to learn, making it a perfect option for beginners. The battery life is good, and the camera feels sturdy and comfortable to hold. Very good quality for the price. Not a super high end camera but very decent on a budget. Has all the features that are marketed & lots of customization in terms of camera settings. Can zoom in on things with very nice quality, doesn’t distort or fry image. Battery doesn’t last extremely long but since it runs on AA batteries you don’t have to stop to charge so that’s a definite plus for us. Very easy to use & we definitely recommend for someone just starting out & not wanting to buy a super high end camera.

Love the camera. Still learning all that is possible with. Took it on a trip to Florida.got some great photos.

This is the worst camera I’ve ever used in my entire life. I got for Christmas this past year so I’ve had it for about six months now and I’ve been really trying with it and it just hasn’t gotten better. You would think for the price this would be an OK starter camera, but it is not. The only thing I could compare it to is a toy you would get for a child. I recently took it on a trip and I had to stop using it halfway through throughout the week because of how terrible my pictures were turning out. I will add some to show you. I’ve tried several different modes, changing settings around, doing an automatic mode, and nothing is helping. I’ve been very disappointed with this camera and I don’t think I’ll ever be using a Kodak again. The zoom quality is cool if you could make up what you’re zooming into, but you can’t. The battery life is fine and that is the only thing that I haven’t had an issue with. I would say it’s more compact than an average camera you would see, but there’s definitely smaller cameras that cost less and are way better than this one, which I will be purchasing instead of using this. I am very disappointed in this waste of money and I wish I could return it and get my money back. If you like spending your money on things that work do not buy this. I will attach photos that I’ve taken with this camera that are the worst quality photos I’ve ever taken.

It runs on AA batteries, so if you plan on using it regularly, I would definitely recommend getting a set of rechargeable batteries rather than constantly buying replacements. The reason I returned it was specifically because of my photography class. I needed a camera capable of shooting in RAW format, and while researching this model beforehand I found conflicting information about whether it supported RAW. After receiving and testing it, I confirmed that it only saves still images as JPEG and does not support RAW. That's not really a fault with the camera since RAW isn't advertised as a feature on the Amazon listing, but it did mean the camera couldn't meet the requirements for my class. If you're a student looking for an inexpensive camera for a photography course, I would check your course requirements before purchasing this one. I paid $149 for it, while it's currently around $179 at the time of this review. I think it can still be a decent choice if you're looking for a relatively inexpensive camera and don't need RAW support. For photography classes that specifically require RAW, though, you'll need to look elsewhere.

I have had Kodak cameras for years and was satisfied with the brand. I could not get this camera to take clear pictures inside or outside. I read the manual to see if different settings would help but they didn't. I am returning the camera and bought Minolta MN40Z ProShot 20 MP. I worked great out of the box and included a camera bag and fast 32 gb SD card. The only thing is that the Minolta went up in price since I bought it 2 days ago.
