Well made. Easy to hold and the lights work great. A quality product. USB-C charging. Everything I needed. This thing is awesome for reading parts #s on electronics and pcb components. NOTE: You will have to use 1 eye eventually to focus the 30x obviously. You can still use this with both eyes for low level magnifying but to zoom in you need to use one eye as you fix the focal point to its furthest resolution. If you just need a reading magnifying glass I would get a 10x with the BIGGEST GLASS PIECE you can find. That will keep you from ever going cross eyed while using it.

I needed a lighted magnifying glass to identify my pills. Got one, found that I needed a lighted one. Ordered one from another source; it was powered by batteries, but when I put the batteries in, their cover kept popping off. It wasn't worth the effort of fixing it or returning it, so I gave it to a young man who swore he could make it work (I'll bet he wrapped the handle in black tape...good luck to him, getting it off. Then I went to Amazon. My criteria were: high magnification, bright light, and rechargeable built-in batteries. This is what I came up with. I bought one for the pills. Then I bought another for the desk, for reading find print. Then another one for the bathroom, because sometimes you need to read details on a pill or medicine package, and you're not exactly dressed to go running out to the dining room or the office desk.

Great light except for one glaring fault a touch sensitive control button that no one asked for! This is not a tactile switch but is similar to your smart phone surface and very sensitive to any conductive materials. I've tried covering the switch area with tape , mylar, kapton, polyethylene, paper and combinations of all with only minimal success. I wish I could just bypass it and install a momentary push button switch. Maybe I'll just gut the whole thing and make my own circuit, oh and the magnifying power is fine and thankfully NOT 30 X! It's probably 4 or 5 X which is totally fine with me! Bigger numbers always impress the marketing people. Murky

It's light, big glass to see, 3 modes of lights, and the battery life is ok for what it is. I wasn't expecting 500 lumes, but 50 to 100 lumes is ok. Used for jewelry and playing cards. 30x zoom is phenomenal. Now if they made the same big glass, but 50x or 60x zoom, that would be awesome

I am upgrading my initial review of this item that can be seen below. I was able to contact the seller. They were apologetic and offered a replacement which I received in a matter of days. Thank you to this seller. Purchased July 23, 2003. Today is October 23, 2023. For the past two weeks it would turn itself on without being touched. The lights no longer work and it will not take a charge. I wish I could return it but the return window has closed. * I am upgrading my review as I have reached out to the seller and they were quick to reply and offer a replacement. Nice!! (After I receive the replacement I will review again. As long as the replacement lasts longer than the original I will add another star or two).

Works great but the battery only lasts about 20 minutes and the power button is “touch” so anything that touches it will turn it on or off.

EDIT: After owning this device amost 90 days, my opinion has drastically changed. The poorly designed power switch renders the LED portion of this device unusable most of the time. The battery is usually fully depleted no matter how carefully you store it. After charging the device less than five times, the USB-C port is too loose to maintain a grip on the connector. Every time i atempt to charge, I find the connector still in theport, however; the electrical connection was no longer made thereby interrupting the charge cycle prematurely. For the above denoted details, I would not recommend this device. Regardless of my initial opinion that follows. I like the fact that the magnifying lens on this device appears to be as it is advertised, optical-grade glass. The weight of this item is comfortable, however; as many others have mentioned, the LED control button is much too sensitive. It is especially annoying when you accidentally, merely brush the button with the slightest of force and you or someone adjacent to you is blinded by exceptionally bright LEDs of this device. As I have previously mentioned in other reviews, it is unfair that a minor nuisance so adversely affects the rating as reviewers cannot deduct tenths of a point. The product appears to be well-manufactured with the exception of the aforementioned. I hope the manufacturer reads these reviews and remedies the complaints that patrons seem to express universally. This magnifying light makes it easier to go read the fine print in low light conditions. Just what I bought it for.

The product quality is good, but it's overpriced and too heavy for the elderly.

Good while lights work . Batteries loose power very quickly. Flat after about 8 minutes of continuous use.
