Nature's Way ADRENergize, Adrenal Support*, No Gluten, 50 Capsules (Packaging May Vary)

I've been taking this product for over 3 years. The effect is noticeable to me within hours of taking it. I've run out a few times and tried to go without it and my energy levels are noticeably lower, I sleep hours more and I crash out/need naps in the afternoon. I've tried "Adrenal Stress End" which didn't work in the same way for me and I've tried the similar vegan "Herbal Adrenergize" by Enzymatic Therapy which did work for me, but when I tried them in comparison, I felt slightly more energy from this product. I think Vegans could be happy with the Herbal Adrenergize product though. I've tried some other brands that didn't work for me. I have a friend that has similar health issues as me and he now swears by this product as well. I also take Armour Thyroid and Cortisol and by taking all these, I went from sleeping 12 hrs/night to 8-10hrs/night with occasional 6hr nights when I need to. MY DOSAGE: I take 2 caps 2 times per day (1x when I awake, 1x late morning/early aftrn). If I take later afternoon, it can keep me up at night). During times of high stress or little sleep, I sometimes take 2 more caps (1e 6 caps/day). Heart Palpitations: I've tried taking higher doses (ie 3 caps 2x/day or 2 caps 3x/day) and began having heart palpitations, however I was raising my Armour Thyroid dose simultaneously and could not figure out which one was causing the heart palpitations but I think it was the Adrenergize. Great price ~10!

This is an amazing product from a reputable vitamin company. I've used this on and off for years. This supplement should be taken as a booster for your adrenal glands. You should also take Vit B complex 2 x daily to feed the adrenal glands. Take 1 tablet in the morning along with Vit B Complex 50 mg or 100 mg. They don't need to go together but I bundle up my vitamins. Take another one at around 3 pm so you can have energy all the way to 9 pm. Vit B complex should be taken at 8 am with food, and again at 3 pm with a snack. Take your multi vit at noon, so no conflicts. Do not take Pregnenolone hormones with Adrenergize. They overstimulate the adrenal glands all at once. Keep them spaced out. After you go through a bottle of this - as per label - your sinus issues will disappear. You will feel recharged and energetic. Most fatigue issues are resolved. I usually go through a bottle twice a year to keep my adrenals in good shape. However, keep taking Vit B complex daily all year so your adrenals are nourished.

One could refer to me as the, "Queen of Supplements," and I should get an honorary degree from Google University for all the health-related research I've done over the years. And over the years, I've found that some supplements work, and others...not so much; even some of the overly-hyped supplements really don't do what they're intended to do. I have to say, though, I was impressed with this product. I did a lot of research about adrenal exhaustion since I have 90% of the symptoms, and I learned that most doctors nowadays only recognize the, "extreme" form of adrenal exhaustion: Addison's Disease, which can be fatal. But just because someone doesn't have Addison's Disease, and just because the numbers on their blood work fall within the "normal" range, doesn't mean that their adrenals aren't taxed. The thing I really appreciated about this product (and the reason I ultimately chose it) is that it contains adrenal cortex ONLY and not the whole gland; for people who suffer from panic and anxiety, this is ideal, as it won't cause the adrenals to release any additional adrenalin. One of the symptoms of adrenal exhaustion is heart palpitations; even though they're painless, they're still pretty scary. I've had them for years and mostly get them in conjunction with "hormonal fluctuations" throughout the course of a month; some months aren't too bad, but still others are horrific. One of the first things I noticed after taking this for a few days is that I didn't get palpitations with the frequency that I normally would. Another sort of, "combination" symptom of adrenal exhaustion is lethargy during the day with difficulty sleeping at night. I know this sounds strange, but if you research the adrenals, adrenalin and cortisol in relation to stress, it makes sense. So, even though I take this in the morning, it doesn't make me tired, and when I'm ready to fall asleep at night, I do. I'm sure that sounds minor to people who've never experienced the hellacious combination of extreme fatigue with insomnia, but it's a big deal to those of us who do. One last thing I think is worth mentioning in this review. Since this product, in my opinion, is a really good price (and since rejuvenating the adrenals can often take years), I signed up for the subscription and have it delivered monthly. I've noticed that some bottles work better than others, but this didn't entirely surprise me; I think it's to be expected with dessicated glandular formulas. I don't know the exact science behind it, but natural formulations differ from synthetic in that natural formulations can't be measured exactly every, single time. In any event, give it a try; it won't take you broke like the "fad" supplements, and it could really help if you suspect that you've got adrenal exhaustion or even if you're just under a lot of stress.

This product surprised me by actually working, a lot of over the counter products are full of fillers and don't ever do what they claim and they will, they usually just make me feel worse. This product actually did what it claimed, it give me an amazing amount of energy, more than I've had in years because of my adrenal gland problems & helped with my anxiety. I was able to work out for the first time in 2 and a half years while on this although I had to take 2 pills before or else one before and one immediately after to recuperate some. It wasn't a long workout but it was something. I could not take one later in the day or at dinner as it directed (3 times a day), because it would make my insomnia worse and keep me up all night so only 1 or two in the morning. It for sure made a huge difference. Unfortunately I had some side effects with it so I can only take it when I'm not on certain medications because combine with this they made my heart palpitations worse. It also gave me really bad acne. It doesn't really go with my vegetarianism either because it’s all animal parts. It for sure has the liver in it I could taste it when I burped; I remembered the flavor from when I was little. I was willing to overlook all this if I could work out again and lose some weight, but it also aggravates my R.A. and was causing my to have a lot of flare ups, so I don't know how often I'll be able to take it. My doctors were not against it if I can live with the side effects, they didn't seem to think it would be dangerous at all, they checked my heart while I was on it. A lot of my prescription meds have worse side effects. Anyway if you don't have a lot of other health issues this might work well for you, I'm really sensitive to meds so maybe someone else wouldn't have the side effects. I can't explain how happy it made me to work out again on this product. I guess I will keep looking for another adrenal product without the side effects and animal parts to help me, while still using this when I can. But so far nothing else I’ve tried helps at all or the side effects are worse.

I Have suffered from Addison's disease for a long time I tried every supplement on the market No joke This was actually my last attempt To try something What an answer to prayer ! I have my life back I felt like my old self from day one I will buy this every single month for the rest of my life Because without it I am a zombie !! This has helped me recover from mold exposure including asthma and histamine intolerance problems. If I couldn't get relief with usual antihistamines and inhalers etc this one would help me recover. Now that the mold is removed I use it to help get over viruses and to help with allergies and low energy.

The reviews sounded great, so I purchased it. The only reason for the 3 star rating is because I don't know first hand if it works as well as people are saying..... Since I only took it about once every 5 days or so. I'm still planning on buying it again, because the reviews are promising, and I have issues with my pituitary gland and my adrenal function. If you're reading this still, then just know I think this will really help if you have adrenal deficiency and low energy throughout the day. Like I said, I plan on purchasing this again in the near future. I will update my review once I have had first hand experience with the product. For right now, all I can say is that it didn't smell or taste bad and it was pretty easy to swallow.
