I am using it on a 3x2x2 and it has magnificent coverage all the way to the 2" sand bed. The whites are fantasticslly bright, but the blues ache for just a little bit more to be desired. The jbj unibody duo 700 had much better blues (which i used before this), but the on board timers and digital controls make up for this over the duo700, and it is a fair enough compromise.
