A Blanket for Baby (Premium) - Solar Flare

(This is my favorite of all the blankets I've made. I've given serious consideration to turning it into a wall-hanging.) This blanket is made of a quilt-quality 100% cotton top featuring a striking combination of red, orange, yellow and green. The quilt-quality flannel back is pumpkin orange with red-orange spots. The weight of the fabrics makes this blanket suitable for year-round use. Since I purchase only enough fabric for a single blanket, each one is unique/one-of-a-kind. The dimensions are appx. 36" x 36" (give or take an inch either way depending on the fabric width). The blanket should be washed in cold water/gentle cycle and dried on low (or air dried). It may be pressed with an iron on the "cotton" setting. Since it is 100% cotton, there will likely be some shrinkage. The blanket is NOT fire-proof or fire-resistant. It is made in a smoke-free home. I have two cats but they are not allowed in the rooms where the blankets are cut, assembled, sewn and packaged.====== All the blankets are categorized as either "budget, ""premium" or "super-premium" and are priced according to the cost of the materials. Budget blankets are made with mass-market-quality fabric of the type usually obtained at a Joann's or Walmart. Premium blankets are made with quilt-quality fabric from shops that specialize in high-end cottons. Ultra-premium blankets are made of more expensive organic fabrics or high-thread-count high-end cottons and heavy flannels.
