How much of this product should i use for my lemon in a 5 gallon pot

Hi......since situations vary, we make ballpark recommendations, using the example of watering 3 times/week. If this were the case, then one of those waterings should be a "feed". A "feed" is a normal watering with nutrient mixed in at 1tbls/gallon of water. If you have to water more frequently, then "feed" more frequently. For a real "bump", feed 3-4 times in a row and then back off to pure water for 3-4 waterings. The "bump" will produce an outburst of new growth, but not enough to harm.......with our nutrients you can even practice "constant feed", as long as you overwater each time so that some comes out the bottom. Container gardening is basically "manual hydroponics", which is a constant feed program. If anything, people underfeed, thinking that too much fertilizer will burn. With low-quality nutrients, this is a legitimate concern. With our nutrients you would have to nuke them really hard to burn them. So "bump" them a little and then back off, and so on. This technique will show you what your plants can do if given the chance. Best regards..........

What is the shelf life of this

Hi.........we've used 2 year old product in trials with good results, but we don't recommend it. We don't inventory our products. Everything we make is on a weekly, if not daily basis and goes out shortly after. Fresh is best. We recommend buying what you anticipate using for 3-4 months. However, if keeping it for an extended period, keep it warm.....room temperature or above. And, the longer it sits, the more you will have to shake to get it back into solution. We have a healthy, young finger lime growing in a large pot here in south texas. is the apples & oranges product ok for it?

I would think so, as that's exactly what I used on my two tangerine trees, here in South Texas as well...    For the last several years, I've had somewhat disappointing production out of my two trees..   I finally decided, I'm going to fertilize them the way they should be...  Hated to spend ~$40, but I bought this...   This gallon jug will last me 2+ years, but let me tell you, the trees are putting out an amazing amount of healthy tangerines..   It'll be another month or so until they are fully ripe, but they are good-sized and look great...   
With a MUCH larger crop than I have seen in years...    All I can say is, this fertilizer is worth every penny..     And when I run out, I'm buying it again...   
Bottom-line, I know finger-limes are not tangerines, but assuming citrus is citrus, I think you'll be very pleased..

Will this work on fig trees and avocado tree?
