I switched to this after getting tired of overly strong, chemical-tasting toothpastes, and this has been a completely different experience. First, the flavor. The cinnamon mint is subtle but really pleasant — not overpowering, not artificial. It’s warm with just a hint of freshness, and it doesn’t leave that harsh burning feeling some mint toothpastes do. What really stands out is how it feels on your teeth. After brushing, my teeth feel smooth and clean in a way that’s hard to describe — almost polished, but gentle. It’s not that squeaky, stripped feeling you get with stronger formulas. I also have some sensitivity, and this has been noticeably better. That’s probably due to the nano-hydroxyapatite, which is meant to support enamel and help with sensitivity instead of relying on fluoride . Whatever the reason, my teeth just feel calmer and less reactive. Another thing I appreciate is what’s left out — no fluoride, no weird additives, nothing that makes you question what you’re putting in your mouth every day. It’s one of those products that feels simple but thoughtfully made. I actually look forward to using it, which I’ve never said about toothpaste before.

I’ve now tried 3 different non-toxic toothpastes and this one by far is my favorite. Pricey. Yes. But I feel it is well worth it compared to the junk-big-box brands out there that have SLS, lead, arsenic, mercury, etc. Why so expensive? Because it uses Nano-Hydroxyapatite which is a non fluoride ingredient which “mimics natural tooth enamel to remineralize teeth” Do your own research and try it. I brush my teeth like most people twice a day. Toothpaste inside your mouth twice a day can add up to a lot of unnecessary chemicals. Stop buying cheap, crappy, chemical filled toothpastes. Pros - BOKA has a good texture, not runny like some brands - foams up well, - not too gritty yet it’s also NOT A gel formula. - teeth feel clean - comes in different flavors Cons - Pricey!

I’m being very vulnerable with this review because it’s not something I’m proud of but this toothpaste has changed my life. I have ADHD and ever since I was a kid I’ve hated brushing my teeth. I simply just could not bring myself to do it regularly. Even to a point I’ve gagged and thrown up when doing so, especially in the mornings. I always thought it was just toothbrushing itself. I decided to buy this toothpaste out of curiosity, and it made me realize that I never had a problem with brushing my teeth, I simply hated the mint toothpastes and it is why I’d struggled so much. Also the consistency of the toothpaste isn’t a thick paste but more of a thinner gel like texture, which is much better in my opinion. It’s been well over a month and I’ve been consistent since switching to this. Luckily my teeth are pretty healthy even with my struggles prior because of other ways I kept care of them but I’m so grateful that I even thought of testing this out! If you struggle with normal toothpaste or if you’re also autistic or have ADHD, definitely try it. I tried both the cinnamint and the cherry blossom and I love them both. The cinnamint flavor is my favorite and I use it with a cinnamon mouthwash, it doesn’t really have a mint flavor and tastes like cinnamon and clove, I absolutely love it. This will forever be my go to brand from now on!

great tooth paste. this was an interesting taste, purchased same brand again but ended up getting the white tube i belive whitening mint.

Not one of the best flavors out there. I'm not used to charcoal. The flavor and texture is a bit off for me, makes me gag every-time but it is One of my favorite toothpastes after transition from sensodyne & proenamel. I never thought I would be able to go to a different toothpaste with my teeth being insanely sensitive. After doing some research and a family never recommend the brand boka I decided to give it a try. Let me tell you that my teeth have never felt better with the sensitivity and cleanness. It freshened your breather well and all the ingredients are so clean and good. I love that I can even give it to my toddler and not worry about her swallowing to much. Give this toothpaste a go!!!! The flavors are amazing. We have definitely tried almost all, we do end up going back to this one and the whitening one.

It’s like brushing your teeth with an icy hot candy! My breath is left minty but with a kick. My dentist told me about Boka toothpaste years ago and I’ve stuck with it ever since. It’s gentle on the gums. No sensitivity issues. Clean ingredients. But yet it just feels like a treat somehow. Try it!

Love this toothpaste!! Ive been using Sensodyne for a while because I have had lots of cavities and such sensitivity. Ive gotta say this is equal to if not befter then Sensodyne! Its DEFINITELY helped my teeth sensitivity and it whitened them!! I will continue this and hope it keeps working and prevents future cavities. This flavor is also awesome.

** trying to buy again - where has this Flavour gone? 33.00??!! ** Super happy with this toothpaste so far. I am on a mission to heal my teeth/ gums: realising i have some gum recession/ weakness thinness at end of top front teeth. Happy that the taste is subtle, natural, mostly lemony and always look for a non-mint taste toothpaste. I'm combining using this toothpaste with also 1) an upgrade in my toothbrush (I now have an Oral B battery operated Toothbrush - the head is soft/med and the pulse on my gums is feeling helpful) - this battery brush is a significant upgrade to the one i was using from Boots which didn't give a pulse on/ massage to the gums and head had less contact with tooth/ was harder 2) a morning and evening practice of Oil Pulling with coconut oil and 1x drop of grapefruit essential oil organic. 3) a mouth rinse either homemade with pink salt/ celtic salt/ bicarb soda OR the Saraken/ Aloe mouth rinse. I've been with this routine for around 3 weeks now and already gums are much pinker, not bleeding (I feel this is mostly the oil pulling which i do for 10 - 20 mins 2x a day). And, i'm able to massage the gums with this new brush/ this toothpaste without any bleeding/ sensitivity. My teeth a feeling less sensitive and stronger. I'm also seeing the dentist/ hygienist to explore possible more 'cosmetic' composite filling for the teeth with exposed roots - possible invisalign treatment to make brushing easier (teeth a crowding together at the bottom - as they did when i had braces as a young girl/ woman). Toothpaste is pricey - the most i've spent on a toothpaste! - and so maybe i will combine this with making-up a toothpaste myself e.g. coconut oil/ bicarb soda sometimes or other toothpaste. And, do feel money well spent at the moment. Thank you to other reviews - the reviews re: the subtle taste and less tooth sensitivity helped me decide to buy. Only problem is it does taste so good need to make sure don't over brush my teeth!

De très loin le meilleur dentifrice expérimenté. Pour les mamans qui subissent les affres d'une natalité pouvant dégrader la dentition, je recommande. Dévitalisation de l'émail ou autre, vous retrouverez le blanc de vos dents grisées après quelques semaines. Incroyable d'efficacité. Le prix tabasse fort c'est sûr mais vu qu'il vous faut mettre qu'une petite quantité sur la brosse, au final le tube fait quelques temps tout de même.

No fluoride and the taste in mouth is not bad. I saw results in a month's time of using it. Recommended!

LOVE this toothpaste. Been using it for over 2 years now. My teeth and gums are so much healthier. My teeth have whitened significantly with no pain (I find whitening toothpastes often create sensitivity and pain).
