Quiksilver Men's Carver Nubuck Flip Flop Sandals

Overall I like them. I tried them on but have yet to put some miles on them. This will be my initial review. 1) the color is off by a wide margin in terms of the orange. It is more brown than orange and the photo is a misrepresentation of the color. This is why they got 4 stars instead of 5. I did read in other reviews this would be the case. But I thought some were being picky but alas, they were accurate. 2) The fit...I am glad I did listen to the reviews in this part. I normally wear a 10 - 10.5 for all types of shoes. I have a tendency to lean towards the 10 if it is snug knowing things will stretch. In this particular case I went with the reviews and ordered up. I got the 11's and they fit PERFECT. I gauge by my right foot because it is the bigger of the 2. In fact I do not think they could fit any better than these do. If I went with the norm and got the 10, I would be disappointed. I will update this if I find any reason to in regards to the quality. Heading on vacation in a couple weeks so I will give them a sturdy workout.........UPDATED....Well, I put them through the ringer on vacation in the Bahamas. I put at least 3 miles on them and they were still very comfortable at the end of the day.

I have been purchasing Quicksilver Carver sandals for over 6 years now, and this is the first pair that has started to fall apart on me. The faux-leather, or synthetic nubuck, starting lifting up from the surface at 3 months of use. Then the faux-leather starting peeling and coming off at a rapid rate. These are also very slippery when wet, almost unsafe slippery.

These run small and narrow. I would recommend sizing up 1-1.5 sizes for these to fit. For reference, I went 2 sizes up from what I wear in Chucks/Vans, and a full size up from what I wear in dress shoes, and they are still somewhat snug. If you have wide or thick feet, size up more.Giving 3* because some genius in marketing decided to put a deep-inset logo on the sole of the shoe, right where your heel sits. Super irritating. Wtf??? If that logo breaks in I will update my review.Shoe is otherwise fine, thick sole with good support, and very comfortable (yet firm) elastic straps. Absolutely ruined by that logo placement.

Falling apart after a couple of weeks - soles are coming unglued and falling off, the surface of the foot bed is made of cheap vinyl and is already peeling. This is terrible garbage and way overpriced. I guess I will stop buying quicksilver products

I wear a 10.5 shoe. Since these sandals don't come in half-sizes, I opted to go larger instead of down to size 10. So I bought size 11 - and it barely fits my foot; I would even say they're too small. They barely cover the sole of my foot, but the straps are too tight as well. Maybe the thong/straps will stretch a little over time, but that also means they're more likely to break. They're not too expensive, so not worth returning them, but I would advise buying a larger size.

I purchased these sandals for walking my dog and for knocking around town on the weekends. The fit is great. And that is the best thing I can say about these sandals. After a month of light wear (only worn to walk the dog and around the grocery store on the weekends), the sole of the sandals started to peel. The inner rubber part of the sandals is now exposed, which is incredibly annoying for even short walks with my dog. I do not recommend this product.

My second pair of these. I loved the first so much I got a 2nd. I am in fear they will stop making them

Very nice sandals. I love the look and they are pretty comfortable. The do run a bit small though. I usually wear a 7.5 – 8 shoe, but the size 8 sandals were much too small. The company makes returns super easy though, and I was able to exchange them for a size nine which fit much better (but are still on the snug side). I would recommend ordering 1 – 2 sizes larger than your normal shoe size.

Really nice quality. I get fed up seeing cheap rubber flip flops. They're okay for on the beach but look out of place anywhere else. These smart leather flip flops are much nicer around the house and garden and general wear.

felt cheap, the sole was a poor shape to my foot, but that coudl be just my odd feet who knowsCost point value, but didn't find them too comfortable and felt everything through sole, so stones etc

These are for a stay in Greece. Only tried them when I received but they felt comfortable and seem to be good quality.

My feet fit well, but it's a bit tight from the top. Other than that, they are of great value and very comfortable to wear.

Great fit, wearing in nicely, I always find flip flops take a while to blend to your feet and get comfier, this pair haven't caused me any problems to date. Recommended.
