Best Kept Secret
WOW, this coffee gives meaning to the word COFFEE . I have tried sooooo many “Dark Roasts “ that have ended up being a 1 time purchase because they fell short of My expectations . I usually drink several cups of coffee everyday, but with this Coffee I drink only 2 cups a day. It is so satisfying that I don’t feel the need to chase the comfort , soothing, and alertness I get with this Brand vs others. The flavor is full bodied, aromatic, smooth (no bad after taste ) and comforting. I will not share this Coffee with anyone , selfish perhaps, I don’t want anyone ordering it since it is limited I don’t want them to run out 🤣😂 . Best kept secret shhh. My only regret is I didn’t purchase a dozen boxes when it was $8.99 . I will splurge when I run out, I can not live without it. Long time coming. Thanks Amazon for offering a GREAT PRODUCT.

Delicious, highly recommended
First and foremost, I like strong, black coffee that isn't bitter. So I don't drink most espresso blends unless that's the only dark roast available. The first thing you notice about this pod is the outstanding aroma as it brews -- seriously best coffee aroma ever! Flavor is also excellent for dark, a well balanced cocoa-mocha with light caramel and honey notes and a hint of roasted pecan nuttiness. After reading the reviews, I initially brewed it as an 8 ounce cup. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the overall boldness; I found this slightly less bold than my standby "Major Dickenson's Blend" from Peet's. That said, it is an excellent option for me, though I now generally brew it to 6 ounces and still brew my Dickies to 8. Oh, and a note on the pod that others have mentioned: the plastic is tough and almost rubbery flexible, so it does not play nice for the initial bottom pierce. To overcome, I simply push it all the way down by hand before closing the lid, so far no issues.

Robust, Delicious Flavor
The flavor is delicious! It is not a bitter dark roast like others I’ve had. It is a good, robust, smooth cup of coffee. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the style of plastic pod it’s contained in. From a previous experience, this thick bottomed plastic pod can break your Keurig‘s (bottom) needle. It surely broke mine shortly after we bought it, but Keurig was nice enough to send us a new replacement for our 2.0 model. So just to be safe, I have to transport the grinds to a reusable pod and toss the original pod in my recycle bin. For my preference, it’s good for a robust 14oz cup brewed on the “strong” setting. That’s a bit of a hassle, but you won’t be disappointed in the flavor!

Nicely blended dark coffee
I've always favored dark roast coffees so I thought I'd give these a try for times that I don't need to brew a full pot. Brewed this using my Keurig 2.0 and the "extra strength mode", which merely puts the water through the pod slower. Found the flavor to be nice blend of dark roasted coffees. Did find a very slight bitter taste but nothing that takes away from the flavor, for me anyway. If you like it dark like I do suggest you give these a try, don't think you'll be disappointed.

Delicious coffee but poor pod packaging!
Arrived in busted taped up box. The majority of the pods would not work in K-Cup machine. Advertised as peaberry coffee but nowhere on the box does it say it is peaberry. Coffee does taste amazing, however, the pods are packed way too full with coffee. I guess this is why the company makes claims that this is a bold roast. Coffee is indeed strong because it's packed tight. The reason the pods do not work in the K-Cup machines is because there's no way for water to pass through all of that coffee! Such a shame when this coffee is delicious but not being packaged well! Some of the pods the needle would not even penetrate through the plastic.

BOLD and VERY GOOD
I was introduced to this coffee by a friend who made it for me in a 6 oz cup and I thought it was excellent. I thought I had found one I liked as much as my previous favorite, so I bought it and while I like it very much as a second choice, I still prefer Barista Prima Italian Roast better, but it's a close race. RR Dark Roast is super strong and rich. Very bold, but if you want a slightly less strong coffee, go with Barista Prima Italian Roast, although they're both great. In fact, I've ordered RR Dark Roast a second time, so I DO really like it, but for everyday, I prefer the other!

Great dark flavor, best so far!
I am always looking for great Dark roast k-cup coffee because even I find great one, after a while we start to get bored with the same taste so I like to change around. We did, Costco Pacific Bold for a while, then Starbucks French Roast, Italian Roast, in between we went through some other pretty good ones such as Gevalia, Seattle's Best ,,, but I really like this Roastmaster Dark Roast Tanzania Honey Limited batch. There are other good Dark Roasts out there but I only look for K-cup around $0.50 each and this coffee fit in that category! We normally use two K-cups per person to make even darker flavor but still $1.00 a cup is much cheaper than going to a coffee shop waiting in line.

Wonderful Flavor
My wife and I tried this coffee seeking to get a new taste as we have only had three or four different in dark roasts that we liked; the others we tasted said dark roast but were more medium tasting with very little body. Roastmaster had very good taste with a lot of body, and so we did order a few more boxes. Er have tried a few from the new batch and we are still liking it. If there are other dark roast blends with good body and great tast, please let me know; always willing to try new. Irwin Moore

I do like the flavor and texture of the coffee but for me I would say it's closer to a medium roast rather then a dark roast. I will order again

Bought the variety pack of 40 pods to see which of the 6 flavors I like best but only received 36. Short at least 2 El Tigre which was one of the ones I was eager to try. The box they were packed looked like it was used as a football then taped up sloppily. So disappointing as this brand is pricey.

I bought this coffee expecting a wonderful dark roast with strong flavor. Unfortunately it turned out to be very weak and watery. Some people may very well enjoy it but I have my keurig on medium water and can barely taste the coffee. It certainly does not compare to many of the others I have bought and is more like a cheap hotel coffee then a specialty dark as it claims.

Worst coffee ever. I was expecting a dark roast. It tastes like caramel and water. It looks like dark tea when in the cup. Don't waste your money.
