It is harvested from the nectar of the heather that blooms in the region of Argolida, Peloponnese, during the autumn months. Due to its high content in heather , it is extremely tious: a powerful antioxidant and a strong booster for the immune system. Use as a topping in ice-creams, yoghurt and creamy desserts. Spread over buttered bread, crepes or pancakes. Drizzle on goat’s cheese, ham or salmon. Keep in a cool and dry place. Do not refrigerate.
