THIS PRODUCT IS MY ANSWER TO MANY ODD JOBS THAT NEED A TAPE THAT WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN. THIS IS THE DEPENDABLE PRODUCT THAT SOLVES SO MANY HOUSEHOLD PROBLEMS. IT TEARS EASILY AND NEVER FAILS TO SECURE, REPAIR OR SEAL PERFECTLY. IT IS ECONOMICAL AND YOU DON'T NEED TO USE ALOT. NASHUA 398 IS THE FINEST GRADE OF DUCT TAPE THAT YOU CAN PURCHASE. I HAVE TRIED LESSER GRADES, BUT THIS IS OF SUPERIOR QUALITY. IT WAS QUITE FAIRLY PRICED AND WILL SAVE YOU MONEY IN THE END ON REPAIRS. IT ARRIVED QUICKLY AND WAS PACKAGED IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. I WILL REORDER FOR SURE.

i like this brand of duct tape. Very strong and a good deal as far as footage is concerned. I'd rather buy this from Amazon instead of the hardware store.

This is a good quality duct tape at a fair price. I was hoping that it was the replacement for another Nashua tape that I can't find and which had a high cloth content. I feel that the cloth-based tape had excellent durability and adhesion. This tape is like the better tapes available in the hardware stores - good quality and useful but not anything special. With Super-Saver shipping it's worth buying, otherwise it would be too expensive. I recently purchased a roll of Nashua 345 tape locally and it appears to be identical in construction to this roll of #398.

Im disapointed. In the picture the tape is green, just like real tape from the 80's: you know, the one that's fabric on the top with a thick layer of glue on the bottom that can hold anything and removes without a mess? Well this aint it. It looks like it in the picture, it has the same number, but its not IT.

I used Nashua Tape 398 when Hurricane Sandy hit our region. I live right next to a bay so the prospect of rising water was very worrisome. I used this tape to secure a tarp around my house and it adhered to many surfaces, including my driveway. What surprised me was that it even adhered to the surface when it was wet! (It started to rain before I can finish taping.) The secured tarp survived the storm, with only a small corner of it coming off. My only complaint is that when I removed the tape after the storm, it took away some paint from underneath. All in all, however, it's a great tape to have because it is strong. Also, you don't need scissors to cut off the tape. You can tear it off with your bare hand! What a wonderful product! Highly recommended!
